Back in 2019 three friends realised how difficult it is to get access to good and healthy food in today’s modern busy lifestyle, and that most of the fresh products of agriculture such as fruits and veggies go to waste!
In search of a solution for these problems, one year later Opi was born.

We want to challenge the status quo of food production so that you don’t have to compromise on taste, quality, sustainability or convenience!
Opi was a fertility deity and earth goddess in the ancient Roman religion. We chose Opi to give the products of the land the dignity they deserve. Modern fruit, with a flavour and naturalness very rooted in the tradition.
Niccolo is a convinced smart-food advocate with a passion for fruits and raw material. Before Opi he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London.
Guglielmo is a Formula 1 Mechanical Engineer with 8 years experience in R&D and optimisation with a live mission: increase efficiency and reduce waste on our planet.
Alessandra loves trying new recipes for our products. With a background in Education she is the source of new ideas in the Company.
With a PhD in Bio-materials, Deana expands Opi's ambitions internationally. She is the main point of contact for our customers in Europe.
